Overview
The IONM and Neuromuscular Department comprises two sections: Intraoperative Neurophysiological Monitoring and Neuromuscular Disorders. We support surgical and clinical services through advanced neurophysiological monitoring and specialised neuromuscular care.
Intraoperative Neurophysiological Monitoring (IONM)
We provide real-time functional monitoring of the nervous system during complex neurosurgical and spine procedures. This enhances surgical safety and preserves neurological function, particularly during epilepsy surgery, skull base procedures, spine surgery, and functional neurosurgery.
Neuromuscular Disorders
We deliver comprehensive evaluation and management of peripheral neuropathies, myopathies, motor neuron diseases, and neuromuscular junction disorders. Our service combines advanced diagnostics with multidisciplinary expertise for complex and progressive conditions.
Advanced multimodal monitoring
We combine multiple monitoring modalities tailored to each procedure. Our protocols provide clear, actionable information, guiding surgical strategy and protecting patient outcomes from incision to recovery.
