Our Palliative Care service was the first of its kind in Saudi Arabia. We support patients and families facing advanced cancer and serious illness through expert symptom control, emotional support, and culturally sensitive care—delivered through clinics, inpatient units, and consultations across the hospital.

We provide advanced management of pain, breathlessness, nausea, and other distressing symptoms. Our approach combines evidence-based treatment with compassionate support, recognising the emotional and cultural needs that shape each person's experience. Every care plan aims to restore comfort, dignity, and daily function.

We lead one of the region's strongest palliative care research programmes, advancing knowledge on symptom management, supportive care, and family needs. We also host the Arab world's first accredited palliative care fellowship, ensuring our care remains innovative, evidence-based, and person-centered.
