KFSH&RC's Pathology and Laboratory Medicine department offers comprehensive clinical and laboratory services, with state-of-the-art facilities for treating various disorders through plasma exchange and cytapheresis, as well as collecting and processing cellular therapies.

Our pathology and laboratory medicine division provides state-of-the-art laboratory testing across subspecialties. Our laboratories utilize advanced automated systems and maintain rigorous quality control ensuring accurate, timely results, supporting every aspect of patient care.

The cellular therapy unit provides collection of cellular therapy including Chimeric Antigen Receptor (CAR)-T cell therapy , stem-cell therapy, both allogenic- and autologous stem-cell therapy, and gene therapy, providing cutting-edge therapeutic approaches that represent the future of personalized medicine.

Our laboratories maintain international accreditation from the College of American Pathologists (CAP) since 1984, American Association of Blood Banks (AABB), Joint Accreditation Committee-International Society of Blood Transfusion (JAC-ISBT) for cellular therapy and apheresis, and ISO 15189 accreditation for the reproductive medicine laboratory and histocompatibility laboratory, demonstrating our commitment to the highest quality standards.
