Overview

The Transplant Intensive Care Unit supports patients before and after transplantation, from initial assessment to postoperative stabilization. Our expert team focuses on protecting the transplanted organ, stabilizing circulation and respiration, and preventing complications using advanced monitoring techniques.

Expert care for complex transplant infections

We perform infectious risk assessments for living and deceased donors, including real-time coordination with the Saudi Centre for Organ Transplantation. We provide pre-transplant optimization, post-transplant infection prevention, and long-term management of complex infections, with rapid response and containment for suspected infectious disease.

Comprehensive inpatient and outpatient care

We provide seamless care across inpatient and outpatient settings. Working with transplant and multidisciplinary teams, we ensure continuity from inpatient care through structured outpatient follow-up, integrating infection prevention and antimicrobial stewardship to optimize outcomes for immunocompromised patients.
