Overview
The Brain Health and Movement Disorders Department has two sections: Brain Health and Cognitive Disorders, and Movement Disorders. We provide integrated, patient-centred care for neurological conditions affecting cognition, behaviour, and motor function.
Brain Health & Cognitive Disorders
We provide comprehensive evaluation and management of memory disorders, dementias, and cognitive syndromes, including Alzheimer's disease. Care combines neurology, advanced neuroimaging, biomarkers, and longitudinal follow-up, with a focus on early diagnosis and quality of life.
Movement Disorders & Parkinson’s Disease
Our Movement Disorders programme is a regional leader in the care of adult and paediatric patients with Parkinson's disease and its variants, dystonia, spasticity, and other movement disorders. Care is delivered through a multidisciplinary model integrating neurology, neurosurgery, neuropsychology, and rehabilitation. We offer medical and surgical treatments with commitment to introducing novel therapies.
Comprehensive support beyond medication
Our programme integrates rehabilitation, safety planning, and family education to reduce falls, improve daily performance, and support emotional wellbeing beyond medication alone.
